The Base Goa operates this website, www.thebasegoa.in. We respect your privacy and keep things deliberately simple.

Cookies and tracking

Our public pages use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking, and we do not build a profile of you as you browse. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary session cookie in the staff admin area, used to keep staff signed in. It is never used for tracking and is not set for ordinary visitors.

When you book

When you book a slot, we store the details you provide (your name, mobile number, email address, and the slots you choose) in our booking system. We use this information only to hold and manage your booking and to contact you about it; our lawful basis is performing the booking you request. If you tick the WhatsApp box, we use your number to send your booking confirmation. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing. We keep booking records for up to 12 months after the booking date for operational and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise them.

When you contact us

If you reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or email, we receive the contact details and message you choose to share. We use that information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your session. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.

External services

Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media profiles open third-party services that have their own privacy policies. Opening the map or starting a chat is your choice; nothing loads from those services until you click.
